
The Caged Athletics V.I. Elite Softball Camp is a 4-day high-performance development camp designed for athletes who want to take their game to the next level.
This camp combines elite instruction, position-specific defensive training, offensive development, guest speaker sessions, and live game competition. Athletes will train in a structured environment built around development, competition, accountability, and game-ready performance.

Daily Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Cost: $400 + GST

Athletes will receive instruction and reps in:
Speed, agility, and movement preparation
Throwing development
Primary position defensive work
Secondary position defensive work
Hitting stations and offensive development
Game IQ and situational awareness
Live game competition
Guest speaker education
Daily competition and development feedback

Blake Hunter brings elite championship experience as both a player and coach. He is a current player with the Hill United Chiefs, the reigning world champions, and currently plays with the Sooke Loggers. Blake brings high-level offensive knowledge, international experience, and proven championship pedigree into every environment he coaches.
Dan Whiteford brings national-level playing and coaching experience to the V.I. Elite Softball Camp. His background includes local baseball, elite fastpitch, Canadian National Championship experience, national team involvement, and high-level coaching with Team BC and Canada’s U23 Men’s National Team program.
Lexi Walper brings strong playing experience, academic excellence, and college-level softball knowledge to the camp. Lexi is currently an infielder at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and has built an impressive resume through high school, travel ball, club softball, and university softball.

Each day will follow a consistent development schedule so athletes can build routine, compete with purpose, and apply what they learn in live game situations.
Daily Schedule:
9:00–9:15 AM — Coaches Game Plan + Player Arrival
9:15–9:30 AM — Introductions + Day Plan
9:30–10:00 AM — Guided Static/Dynamic Warmup
10:00–10:30 AM — Guided Throwing Warmup
10:30–11:15 AM — Primary Position Defensive Work
11:15–11:30 AM — Secondary Position Defensive Work
11:30 AM–12:30 PM — Lunch / Guest Speaker
12:30–2:00 PM — Hitting Stations
2:00–4:00 PM — Games
